Eevamaija Virtanen is a Founding Engineer and AI Governance Architect at Agion, where she works on runtime governance for agentic systems.

Her work focuses on how organizations retain oversight, judgment and accountability as AI systems take on increasingly autonomous roles.

She founded Helsinki Data Week and DataTribe Collective, Finland’s largest data communities, and speaks internationally on agentic systems, sociotechnical design and the future of governance.
