Location

Compass takes place in one of Budapest’s most distinctive industrial heritage spaces. It’s closer than you think!

Venue

The Eiffel Art Studios is a unique cultural centre created from the 19th-century Northern Railway Maintenance and Engineering Works, once the largest indoor railway complex in Hungarian railway history. Built between 1884 and 1886, the halls originally serviced up to 96 steam locomotives at a time. Today, the restored industrial spaces serve as the Hungarian State Opera’s modern rehearsal, production and logistics centre.

By Public Transport

  • Tram 28, 28A, 62, (Eiffel Műhelyház stop)

Parking is free in the museum’s parking lot, however the spaces are very limited. Public parking options are available in the surrounding area, however, spaces are limited and may fill up quickly. We therefore recommend using public transportation or alternative means of transport.

Want to take an Uber instead?

Taxis and ride-sharing services operate throughout the city and can drop you off directly at the venue entrance. If you’re using a taxi, simply tell the driver “Eiffel Műhelyház”.
